How to create a shareable link for each format

Google Sheets

The cleanest option for spreadsheet templates:

Build your template in Google Sheets
Go to File → Share → Share with others
Change access to "Anyone with the link" and set to Viewer
Copy the link

Important: Share a "view only" copy link, not an edit link. Buyers will use File → Make a copy to get their own editable version. This is standard practice for Google Sheets templates.

Alternatively, publish a "make a copy" link by appending /copy to the base Sheets URL — this prompts buyers to immediately copy to their Drive.

Excel / Microsoft Office

Two options:

OneDrive: Upload your Excel file to OneDrive, click Share → set to "Anyone with the link can view" → copy the link. Buyers can download the file directly.
Google Drive: Upload the .xlsx file to Google Drive, share with "Anyone with the link," copy the URL. Buyers download the Excel file.

Airtable

Airtable offers a "Share a copy of this base" link. Buyers click it and get their own editable copy of your base directly in their Airtable account. No export required.

No. Share your Google Sheet as 'View only' — buyers make their own copy via File → Make a copy. Your original is untouched. For extra safety, share a 'make a copy' link (append /copy to the base URL) which forces a copy immediately on opening.

What if I want to update the template after selling?

For Google Sheets templates, updates to your original are reflected for anyone who views the link before copying. Buyers who have already made a copy have their own version and will not see updates. For Excel files on OneDrive, you can update the file and the download link stays the same.

Can I sell a bundle of multiple spreadsheet templates?

Yes. Put all templates in a Google Drive folder, share the folder link, and paste it into unseal.link. Buyers pay once and get access to all templates in the folder.
