Last updated: April 14, 2026
Trana, Inc. (the "Company") is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide to us, and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.
For purposes of this Policy:
- "Site" refers to unseal.link, accessible at https://unseal.link.
- "Service" refers to the Company's services accessed via the Site, through which sellers can create payment-gated links to digital content and buyers can purchase access to that content via Stripe.
- "We," "us," and "our" refer to Trana, Inc.
- "You" refers to you as a user of our Site or Service, whether as a seller, a buyer, or a visitor.
By accessing our Site or Service, you accept this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and you consent to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described here.
I. Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information: Non-Personal Information and Personal Information.
Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you — such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, browser type, device type, general geographic location, and number of clicks.
Personal Information includes information that can identify you, specifically:
- Email address (required for both seller account registration and buyer purchase delivery)
- Seller business or personal information submitted during Stripe Connect onboarding for payout verification
- Product information submitted by sellers (URLs, titles, descriptions, prices, and optional preview images)
1. Information Collected via Technology
To use the Service as a buyer, you do not need to submit any Personal Information other than your email address at checkout. To use the Service as a seller, you will need to register an account and connect a Stripe account.
We track information provided by your browser when you view or use the Service, such as referring URL, browser type, device type, time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. We track this using cookies — small text files that include an anonymous unique identifier, stored on your device.
We use both persistent and session cookies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until deleted and are used to maintain your login session and remember your preferences.
2. Information You Provide by Registering for an Account
To become a seller on the Service, you will create an account by providing your email address, a username, and a password. You will also connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. By registering, you authorize us to collect, store, and use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Buyers do not create accounts. Buyers provide only their email address at checkout, to which their content access link is delivered upon payment confirmation.
3. Information We Receive from Third Parties
We receive transaction and account information from Stripe, our payment processor and the provider of our Connect platform infrastructure. This includes payment confirmation data, Stripe Connect account identifiers, and payout status. We do not receive or store full payment card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe.
4. Children's Privacy
The Site and Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under 13, or allow anyone under 13 to register for the Service. If we learn that we have collected personal information from anyone under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at info@unseal.link.
II. How We Use and Share Information
Personal Information
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent, or share your Personal Information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
We use Personal Information to:
- Operate and provide the Service (including creating seller accounts, generating paywall links, and delivering buyer access links by email upon payment confirmation)
- Process payments and payouts via Stripe
- Send transactional emails related to your account, purchases, or sales
- Respond to support requests and communications
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We share Personal Information with:
- Stripe — to process payments, manage Stripe Connect seller accounts, and facilitate payouts. Stripe's use of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Service providers — vendors performing services on our behalf (email delivery, cloud infrastructure, analytics) who access your information only as necessary and in accordance with our instructions.
- Legal authorities — if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, a legal process, or an enforceable governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service; to address fraud or security concerns; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
Non-Personal Information
We use Non-Personal Information to improve the Service, customize user experience, and analyze usage patterns. We reserve the right to share aggregated, non-identifiable usage data with partners and analytics providers at our discretion.
Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer may continue to process your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
III. How We Protect Information
We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure server infrastructure, and access controls.
Your seller account is protected by your password. We urge you to keep your credentials secure and to log out after each session.
Buyer content access links are delivered over an encrypted server-to-email path, triggered only after cryptographic verification of Stripe's payment confirmation webhook. Your content URL is never exposed in page HTML or JavaScript prior to payment.
However, no security measures are perfect. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to assume the inherent risks associated with transmitting information online.
IV. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information
You have the right at any time to:
- Opt out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any promotional email, or by contacting us at info@unseal.link. Note that we may continue to send administrative emails (such as transactional receipts and policy updates) regardless of marketing preferences.
- Request access to the Personal Information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@unseal.link. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
V. Links to Other Websites
As part of the Service, sellers may create paid links pointing to third-party platforms including Google Drive, Notion, Figma, GitHub, Discord, Dropbox, and Canva. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those platforms. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and Service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platforms you access through the Service.
VI. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by sending a notice to the primary email address associated with your account or by posting a prominent notice on the Site. Significant changes will take effect 30 days following notification. Non-material changes or clarifications take effect immediately. We encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.
